With the arrival of this website we are seeing the beginning of an appeal for work needed to be carried out on our church organ at All Saints.

The organ has been a much loved part of All Saints for many years but inevitable wear and tear has meant that it needs a complete clean and refurbishment.
This sort of thing cannot be done cheaply but we believe it is in the interests of the church that the work is carried out and so we are launching a number of fundraising ventures as well as making some financial appeals in order to secure funding.
We are seeking to raise enough money to be able formally to accept their quote in the coming year, though we are also seeking grants to aid us towards the total of over £30,000 for the work that is necessary.

We are planning on carrying out this work over a five year period, so that the fundraising is manageable and so that the work, when it is carried out, does not affect our church life unduly as it will not all be at once over a long period.
SO WHAT NEXT?
A committee has now been set up and we will gradually update and improve this website page over the coming months.
Our first fundraising event was a Hymnathon which went really well. Now Simon is organising a sponsored walk which he will undertake in August from Whitstable to Dover along the coast. We will also be organising a concert in the summer too.
